Find the Right Class For Your Budding Musician
6 weeks - 3 years
Musical activities for infants and toddlers engage the whole child. At this level, musical play reinforces the special bond between the adult and child while introducing basic musical concepts. Musical discovery and play help keep active toddlers engaged and learning new skills. It is the perfect age to use songs and fingerplays to introduce steady beat, vocal exploration, and much more. 4-5 years
Children in this age group can now independently explore music through imaginative and cooperative play with their peers. Their ability to differentiate between changes in tempo, pitch, dynamics, and articulation is becoming more sophisticated and complex. Exploration of large orchestral and folk instruments brings music to life. Learn More
6-8 years
Early school-age children are motivated by peer interaction. Small group classes allow engagement in complex musical games, improvisation, and basic composition and lay the foundation for future musical study. Children explore new instruments, learn about diverse cultures, and develop a musical identity, all within a supportive and inviting environment. Learn More

MacPhail Minneapolis
Near the Mill City Museum and Guthrie Theater, this state-of-the-art, six-story building opened in January of 2008 and includes 55 unique studios and many diverse practice rooms, music labs and performance spaces including six classrooms designed for Sing Play Learn with MacPhail®.

MacPhail Apple Valley
MacPhail Apple Valley, which opened in the Spring of 2010, has 13 studios and two classrooms custom built with the acoustical treatments needed for student lessons, music therapy, Sing Play Learn with MacPhail® programs and small recitals.
MacPhail Austin
MacPhail's Austin location, opened in 2015, offers Sing Play Learn with MacPhail® classes, individual classes, and more. Spaces include 6 teaching studios, 8 practice rooms, Sing Play Learn with MacPhail® suites for band, choir, and orchestra, an electronic music lab, and a recital hall.
MacPhail Chanhassen
Located in downtown Chanhassen, the Grandma Talle Center at MacPhail offers seven studios, two classrooms and offers Sing Play Learn with MacPhail®, individual classes, and Suzuki Talent Education.
New Horizon Academy
MacPhail offers New Horizon Academy students engaging musical learning experiences at several New Horizon Academy locations. The developmentally appropriate music classes can enhance your child's learning potential. (Available for students enrolled at participating New Horizon Academy locations.)
